I was happy with Future mortgages and I had no problem with them but for last 4-5 months my mortgage payments have hit the roof: e.g. from £850 to £1109 per month. Why is this happening to me? I just checked on a mortgage calculator and it should be much lower than what I am paying to them.

Many people have experienced the same as you. This most likely reason is that your fixed rate deal has come to an end and the fallout from the US consumer credit crisis has caused your bank to increase their rates.
