1920s and 30s

The Art Deco style is the most famous style of this period.

The common characteristics of this style are metal windows and the sunburst or sunray pattern in windows and doors.

There were also revivalist trends such as “Stockbroker Tudor”.

Houses in this style are black and white, half timbered with gabled and leaded windows and are most often see in the suburbs.
