Review of the area
Having just spent a weekend in Hambledon I am now tempted to move! Time was spent walking along the river imagining we might even take up canoeing, or even a navigate a river barge into the hinterland. Wandering up in the hills behind the Hambeldon village we revelled in the wide vistas, squelchy mud and eventually a remarkable sunset.A wonderfully indulgent pub lunch the following day and a gentle exploration of the surrounding villages rounded off the weekend. The local village shop, hub of the village is welcoming and friendly. Yes, Id happily live there.
