Review of Brighton & Hove
Hove is a town located on the south coast of England it neighbors the larger city of Brighton. The two merged to create the City of Brighton and Hove. The town has been modernized in recent years to include a large supermarket and many smaller shops.
Public transportation is available in Hove in the form of buses, taxis who pick up and drop off in Hove and/or neighboring Brighton. The town also boasts two railway stations that provide easy access to the surrounding areas.
Hove offers a variety of educational opportunities. Many opportunities are afforded to foreign students of the English language. Secondary schools include Hove and Sussex Sixth Form College, the Connaught Centre, Blatchington Mill Sixth Form College and Hove Park Sixth Form Centre.
Hove offers many sporting opportunities. Town favourites include cricket and the local football team called “The Seagulls”. Swimming is also a popular sport in Brighton and Hove.
Hove offers a variety of houses ranging from more modest older homes to more modern homes. Most of the housing available in Hove is terraced and semi- detached council housing.
It is common to hear residents refer to the city as Hove actually. Often when questioned about where they live residents will reply that they live in Brighton and follow with Hove actually.
