Review from Nicole BattistaOn my travels, Brighton has been a highlight. It has a fun nightlife, beautiful architecture, many sights to see, and great shopping. A great place for fun, not to mention a lovely pebble beach. Also very easy to get to from London, and most places are in walking distance- if you like to walk- within Brighton. You will also not have trouble finding a reasonably priced bed and breakfast or can stay in university dorms in the off season, on a budget.
To stay longer on a budget bedsits are common and in the £300-400 range, studios start around £500, and 1 bedroom flats at about £600, all of which can be found near the city center.
Review from Janet CampbellBrighton has a vibrant cosmopolitan atmosphere by the sea. I have been visiting for over twenty years and yearn to live there. The quality of the sea has changed for the better over the years, due to extensive work taking sewage further out to sea; and now is a delightful turquoise on occasion.
